\red{\textbf{Answer :- 3.33 Days}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\red{\textbf{Given :-}}

\textsf{A takes 9 days to complete the work}

\textsf{B takes 24 days to complete the work}

\textsf{C takes 16 days to complete the work}

\red{\textbf{To find:-}}

\textsf{How long will it take for B to complete }

\textsf{the remaining work alone?}

\Large\textsf{so,}

\textsf{In 4 days, work done by all three would be}

\textsf{4 × (1/9 + 1/24 + 1/16)}

\textsf{= 4 × = 124/144}

\textsf{= 31/36 of the work.}

\textsf{Work left for B would be 5/36 of the work.}

\textsf{=(5/36) × 24}

\textsf{=3.33 days.}

\textsf{Thus,3.33 days B will take to work alone}
