Hello,

Let the distance be x km for a and time be t hrs
So .

Speed of a = distance /time

Speed of a = x/t km/hr

Now
Rame 's case

Distance = x/2 km
Time = 2t hrs
So,
Speed of rame = distance /time

Speed of rame =x/4t

Now ,
Ratio of their speeds are

Speed of a/speed of rame
 =  \frac{ \frac{ x}{t} }{ \frac{x}{4t} }  \\  \\  =  \frac{x \times 4t}{x \times t}  =  \frac{4}{1}
So,

The ratio of a' s speed to rame's speed = 4:1

Hope this will be helping you..
