The ratio of their rates is :

a : b : c = 20 : 60 : 45

= 4 : 12 : 9

The sum of the ratios is :

4 + 12 + 9 = 25

The share of b is :

12/25 × 26000

12/25 × 26000 = 12480

= Answer : 12480

Answer:

Rs.4875

Step-by-step explanation:

A completes work in 20 days .

B completes work in 60 days.

C completes work in 45 days.

We know that profits must be shared as the ratio of their efficiencies.

So efficiencies of A : B : C = 1/20 : 1/60 : 1/45

                                            = 9 : 3 : 4

Sum of efficiencies = 9+3+4=16

So B share in the total profit =  \frac{3}{16} \times 26000

                                                 = Rs.4875

Hence  the profit of b is Rs.4875
