Answer:

A’s share of profit is Rs. 14625.

B’s share of profit is Rs. 4875.

C’s share of profit is Rs. 6500.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data:

A does a work in 20 days

B does a work in 60 days

C does a work in 45 days

Profit shared together by all three = Rs. 26000

So,

Work done by A in 1 day = 1/20

Work done by B in 1 day = 1/60

Work done by C in 1 day = 1/45

We know, work done ∝ (1 / efficiency)

∴ Ratio of efficiencies of A, B & C = 1/20 : 1/60 : 1/45

                                                                = 9 : 3 : 4

∴ profit share of A in total profit = {9/(9+3+4)} * 26000

                                                          = (9/16) * 26000

                                                           = Rs. 14625

∴ profit share of B in total profit = {3/(9+3+4)} * 26000

                                                           = (3/16) * 26000

                                                             = Rs. 4875

∴ profit share of C in total profit = {4/(9+3+4)} * 26000

                                                            = (4/16) * 26000

                                                             = Rs. 6500

\huge{Answer\:=\:6000\:Rs}

Explanation :

We know that, profits must be shared as the ratio of their efficiencies.

But efficiencies are inversely proportional to the days. So efficiencies of A : B : C = 1/20 : 1/60 : 1/45 = 9 : 3 : 4

Therefore, B share in the total profit = 3 / 13 X 26000 = Rs.6000
