Ethanol(C2H5OH) as it is the constituent of antifreeze. When Oxygen is reacted with ethanol then acetic acid and water is released.But directly ethanol can not be reacted to obtain acetic acid.In this reaction an aldehyde is firmed and then acetic acid is formed
