N forms ccp lattice. No of atoms in ccp lattice are 4. Thus, no of N atoms are 4

M occupies one third of tetrahedral voids. Since no of tetrahedral voids are twice no of atoms,
M =(1/3)*2*4 = 8/3

M : N = 8/3 : 4 = 8 : 12 = 2 : 3

The formula for the compound is M2N3
