20g of sulpher is present in 100g
then,32g of sulpher is presnt in 160g
so,mass of sulpher in the compound is 160g.
Now, most of the oxides with sulpher gives the ratio of 1:3(ratio of molecules)
So, if mass of sulpher is 160g mass of oxygen is 160x3=480g
therefore,mass of the compound 160+480g=640g.

Answer:

The minimum molecular weight $=160 \mathrm{~g} / \mathrm{mole}$.

Explanation:

20g of sulfur exists present in 100g

then,32g of sulfur exists present in 160g

so, the mass of sulfur in the compound is 160g.

Now, most of the oxides with sulfur show the ratio of 1:3 (ratio of molecules)

So, if the mass of sulfur exists 160g. mass of oxygen exists

160*3=480g

$x=$ minimum molecular weight

&x=\frac{32}{20} \times 100 \\

&=160 \mathrm{~g} / \text { mole }

Therefore, the minimum molecular weight $=160 \mathrm{~g} / \mathrm{mole}$.
