P=Acetic acid or ethanoic acid
Q=Ethanol
R=Ethyl Acetate

C2H5OH + CH3COOH => CH3COOC2H5 + H20

a) compound p is Ethanoic acid that is CH3COOH
Q is Ethanol that is C2H5OH
R is ester CH3COOC2H5

in presence of H2SO4
b) C2H5OH + CH3COOH—–————> CH3COOC2H5+ H2O

C) uses of product R that is ester...
i). its act as a flavouring agent, perfumes and soaps.
ii) it is used to make soaps as it undergo saponification.
