the compound is plaster of Paris ( calcium sulphate hemihydrate ) caso4 . 1/2 h2o. it is used by doctors to fix broken arms and also used for decorations . equation for preparation : caso4 . 2 h2o + heat 443 k = caso4 . 1/2 h2o + 3/2 h2o. = for arrow heat and 443k should be above arrow

It's formula is CaSO4.2H2O

Equation:

CaSO4.2H2O gives CaSO4.1\2H2O +CaSO4.1 1\2 H2O

it is used in hospitals by the doctors for fixing fractured bones.
