A compound X is a colourless and orderless liquid having Ph=7,it's acidified solution undergoes decomposition in presence of electricity to produce gases X,Y and Z. The volume of Y is double then Z. Y is highly combustible where as Z is supporter of combustion. Identify X,Yand Z. write the chemical equation involved, name the process​

Compound X is Water ( H₂O) It's Neutral Hence PH 7 .

On Electrolytic Decomposition It gives off diHydrogen (H₂) and diOxygen (O₂) molecule

Hydrogen released is double the amount of Oxygen.So, Y will be Hydrogen which burns and Z will be Oxygen which is Reduced during combustion.
