A compound 'X'on heating with alkaline KMnO4 oxidises and gives a compound 'Y'. Melting point of pur 'Y'is 290k. 'Y'also reacts with 'X' in the presence of an acid catalyst to give a sweet smelling 'Z'. Identify 'X','Y' 'Z'. Write the chemical equation for the firmation of 'Z'.
