let the sample equals 100 gram
therefore
amount of sulphur in the sample equals to 50.05gm
and amount of oxygen in the sample 49.95 gm
moles of sulfur in the = 50.05 / 32 = 1.56
moles of oxygen = 3.121
multiplying both the number of moles by 2 to reach nearest natural number
so the empirical formula = Sn O2n
