NO!! It won't!!! Computers don't use the external memory such Hard Disk as the replacement for internal memories like RAM and ROM.

Hard drives belong to the class of sequential access memory, which are too slow when compared to random access memory (RAM) to access.

Justification: Sequential access memory is accessed in a sequence, while in a RAM, any location can be randomly accessed. Therefore RAMs are more efficient in terms of access speed. Using HDD as RAM will degrade the user experience to a large extend, as the user will start to experience severe lagging even for simplest tasks.
