Answer:

A computer was bought for Rs.24650 and Rs.350 was spent on its transportation. At 29000 Rs it sold to be to have a gain of 16%.

Step-by-step explanation:

A computer was bought for Rs.24650 and Rs.350 was spent on its transportation.

So, CP of computer = Rs.24650 +  Rs.350 = Rs 25000

gain % = 16%

gain % = gain/CP ×  100

16= \frac{gain}{25000}  \times 100\\16= \frac{gain}{250 }\\gain = 16 \times 250\\Gain = 4000

Now find SP

SP- CP = gain

So, SP = gain + CP

= 4000 + 25000

SP = 29000 Rs

Hence cost price of computer is 29000 Rs.
