f=-15cm
v=-10cm
the equation of focal length is :
1/f=1/v-1/u
so
1/(-15)=1/(-10)-1/u
1/u=1/(-10)-1/(-15)
1/u=-3+2/30
1/u=-1/30
and
u=-30cm
and magnification equation is :
m=v/u
m=-10/-30
so
m=0.3
v=-10cm
the equation of focal length is :
1/f=1/v-1/u
so
1/(-15)=1/(-10)-1/u
1/u=1/(-10)-1/(-15)
1/u=-3+2/30
1/u=-1/30
and
u=-30cm
and magnification equation is :
m=v/u
m=-10/-30
so
m=0.3
