a concave mirror can produce both real image as well as virtual image. But according to the given condition the concave mirror is producing real and inverted image so
ACQ-
Height =h,height of image is 3h
m=h’/h...m=-3h/h
m=-3....u=-10cm
But we know that m=-v/u
-3=-v/-10... v=-30cm
Hence solved.
Hope it will helpfull to you.

Given magnification m=3

and object distance u=10 cm and we know,

Magnification m=  -v/u

−v=3×−10

v=30 cm

Thus the image is formed at distance of 30 cm.
