A concave mirror produces a real, four times magnified image of an object placed at 10cm infront of it.Find the position of the image and the radius of curvature of the mirror.​

Given :

✑ m = -4, u = -10 cm

✑ m = -v/u

✑ -4 = -v/-10

✑ v = -40 cm

Now,

✑ 1/f = 1/v + 1/u

✑ 1/f = 1/-10 + 1/-40 = (-4–1)/40 = -1/8

✑ So, f = -8 cm and since R = 2f and so R = -16 cm
