Given:

  • Image produced by concave mirror is six times magnified image of an object placed at 20cm.

To Find:

  • Find the position of the image.

Solution:

 \sf \underline{we \: know \: that : }

  \sf\implies \: m =  \frac{ - v}{u}  \\   \\  \sf\implies \: 6 =  \frac{ - v}{ - 20}  \\  \\  \sf \implies \: 6 =  \frac{v}{20} \\  \\  \sf \implies \: v = 20 \times 60 \\  \\  \implies \sf \: v  = 120 \\  \\

 \sf {\underline{image \: position \: is \: 120cm \: }} \\  \sf \underline{ \: from \: mirror}
