Given : The heights of the slabs are 7 m, 12 m, 17 m, and so on

To Find :   form an expression to find the height of the n slab

Solution:

The heights of the slabs are 7 m, 12 m, 17 m, and so on

a= 7

d = 12 - 7 = 5

17 - 12 = 5

Hence its an ap

a = 7

d = 5

aₙ = a + (n - 1)d

=> aₙ = 7 + (n - 1)5

=> aₙ = 7 + 5n - 5

=>  aₙ =  5n + 2

height of n slab = 5n + 2
