A conducting rod of length l moving in a transverse magnetuc field of strength B with velocity v . The resistance of the rod is R . The curent in the rod is
a) Bvl/R
b) Bvl
c) zero
d) B^l^2 v^2/R

Explanation:

Current in rod is zero. Charge in motion in magnetic field experience field . This field produce emf in the rod, but for the follow of current require of closed conductive path that is not present.

my answer is also zero but not for a reason mention. charge in motion in magnetic field experiences a force. that's does not require any changes in magnetic field. this force also produces an emf in the rod. but for the current to flow you need a close conductive path. I don't see that here.
