we know, charge on each electron , e = -1.6 × 10^-19 C

here according to question, a conductor has been given a charge - 3 × 10^-7 C by transferring of electrons.

We know, charge is quantised. so, number of electron can be given by, Q = ne

where Q is charge given on conductor , n is number of electrons transferring and e is charge on each electron

so, - 3 × 10^-7 C = n × -1.6 × 10^-19

or, n = 3 × 10^-7/1.6 × 10^-19

or, n = 1.875 × 10¹²

hence, number of electrons are transferred is 1.875 × 10¹².
