answer : option (b) 0.3 volts

explanation : length of conductor , l = 3m

magnetic field , B = 10^-3 T

speed of conductor , v = 10² m/s

we have to find induced emf

use formula, \xi=-Blv

= -10^-3 × 3 × 10² = -0.3 volts

hence, magnitude of emf produced across the ends of conductor will be 0.3 volts .

hence, option (b) is correct.
