A conductor of 4 Ohms is connected in series with another conductor of 8 Ohms. A potential
difference of 6V is applied across the combination. Calculate the
(i) Total resistance of the circuit.
(ii) Current through the circuit.

(i)12 ohms.

(ii)I=V/R=8/12=2/3.
