HELLO!

Use the formula F = i (l x B), or F = iBl when B and l are perpendicular to each other.

The Force acting on the conductor is 10⁻⁴ N

By Using the formula

F = i (l x B), or F = iBl when B and l are perpendicular to each other.

We are Given

Length (l) = 1m

Current (i) = 1A

Magnetic Field = 1G

⇒10⁻⁴ Tesla

Ф = 90° (As placed perpendicular)

∴ Force = i (l × B)

= iBl sin90°

= 1 × 10⁻⁴ × 1

= 10⁻⁴ N
