We need to find the amount of charge that passes through the conductor.

 We know that linear impulse = mv

      F Δ t = m √2 g h

      Also i l B Δ t = μ√2gh

       But i Δ t = Δ q

Therefore (Δ q) (l B) = m√2gh

       So Δ q = m √2gh / B l
