we know that,
Vol. Of cy. Is πr2h
And
Vol. Of a cone is 1/3πr2h
Therefore we can conclude that vol. of a cone is one third the volume of a cylinder , give that their height and radius is same .
Therefore , if volume of cylinder is 300 square units , then the volume of the former cone will be
1/3 of 300 , that is 100 square units

Explanation:
volume of the cylinder=πr^h =300
volume of the cone=1/3πr^h
=1/3×300
=100cm^
therefore, volume of the cone is 100cmcube
