Answer:

10 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A cone of height 20 cm and radius is 5 cm is made up of modelling clay a child reshapes it in the form of a sphere .

To Find: Find the diameter of the sphere.

Solution:

Height of cone = 20 cm

Radius of cone = 5 cm

Volume of cone = \frac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h

                           = \frac{1}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} (5)^2 \times 20

Volume of cylinder = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Since we are given that  child reshapes cone in the form of a sphere .

So, volume will remain same

So, (5)^2 \times 20=4 r^3

\frac{(5)^2 \times 20}{4}=r^3

\sqrt[3]{125}= r

5= r

So, radius of sphere is 5 cm

Diameter = 2 \times Radius  = 2\times 5 = 10

Hence the diameter of the sphere is 10 cm
