when remodelling one shape to other , the volume for both shapes will be equal.

vol of cone=1/3πr^2h

vol of sphere=4/3πr^3

equating both,

1/3πr^2h=4/3πr^3

r^2h=4r^3

h=4r

24=4r

r=6cm

surf area of sphere,

4πr^2=4π×36

=144π sq.cm
