A cone of height h cm, is divided into two parts by a plane through the mid-point of the
axis of the cone and parallel to the base. Find the ratio of the volume of the conical
part to that of the frustum.​

volume of the full cone (1/3)π r^2 h=V

volume of the half cone=(1/3)π (r/2)^2(h/2)

=(1/8)V

volume of frustum =V-(V/8)=(7/8)V

ratio =(V/8)/(7V/8)=1/7 Ans
