height of cone, h = 24cm

radius of base of cone, r = 6cm

a/c to question, reshapes cone in the form of a sphere.

Let radius of sphere is R.

e.g., volume of cone = volume of sphere

1/3 πr²h = 4/3 πR³

or, r²h = 4R³

or, 6 × 6 × 24 = 4 × R³

or, 6 × 6 × 6 = R³ => R = 6cm

hence, radius of the sphere , R = 6cm

surface area of sphere = 4πR²

= 4 × 22/7 × 6 × 6

= 144 × 22/7 cm²

= 452.57 cm²
