A cone was melted and cast into a cylinder of the same radius as that of the base of the cone. If the height of the cylinder is 5 cm, find the height of the cone. Choose the correct alternative answer for the following question.

Radius of cylinder = Radius of cone

According to question,

Volume of cone = Volume of cylinder

=> pi r^2 h / 3= pi r^2 H

=> h / 3= H

=> h = 3 × 5

=> Height of cone = 15 cm
