a cone with base radius 10cm is cut at the centre to take off another cone. what is the ratio of volumes of new cone and remaining frestrum of cone​

Answer:

volume of new cone= 3/4×22/7×10/2×h/2

= 3/2×1/7×5×h/2

= 15h/28

volume of big cone = 3/4×22/7×10×h

= 3/2×11/7×10×h

= 330h/14

volume of remaining frestum = 330h/14-15h/28

= 660h/28-15h/28

= 645h/28

ratio = (15h/28):(645h/28)

= 15 : 645

= 1: 43

ans.
