radius of pit = r= 3.5/2 = 1.75 m

height of pit = depth of pit = 12m
so, volume of pit = 1/3 λr²h
= 1/3 x 22/7 x 1.75² x 12
= 38.5 m³

capacity of pit = 38.5 x 1 = 38.5 kl

Radius (r) of pit  = [ 3.5 / 2 ] m

                        = 1.75 m

Height (h) of pit = Depth of pit = 12 m

Volume of pit

                       = 1/3 πr²h

             = [ 1/3 × 22/7 × ( 1.75)² × 12 ] cm³

            = 38.5 m³

Thus, capacity of the pit = ( 38.5 ×1 ) kiloliters = 38.5 kiloliters.
