A conical tent is 10 m high and the radius of its base is 24 m. Find
(1) slant height of the tent.
(ii) cost of the canvas required to make the tent, if the cost of 1 m² canvas is Rs 70.

Radius= 24m

Slant Height =√(h)^2-(p)^2

= √(10)^2-(24)^2

=√100+576

= 26m

cost of 1m^2 is rs 70

so, cost of πrl m^2= πrl×70

= 22/7×24×26×70

= 137280

Hence,the slant height is 26m and the cost of the canvas required is Rs.137280
