Height of the conical tent = 10m

The radius of its base = 24m

We know that,

                          C.S.A. of a cone = \pi rl

                                                       = 22*24*10

                                                          7

                                                    =  5280

                                                            7

                                                    = 754m^{2}

Hence, the CSA of the tent is  754m^{2}

Answer:

1961.14 m^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

height = 10 m

radius = 24 m

slant height (l) = height^{2} + radius^{2}

l^{2} = 10^{2} + 24^{2}

l^{2} = 100 + 576

l^{2} = 676

l = \sqrt{676}

l = 26

CSA formula = πrl

= 22/7 x 24 x 26

= 1961.14 m^{2}

hope it helps
