=>l = √(15)^2 + (24)^2

=>l = √225 + 576

=>l = √801

=>l = 28.301943396

(2)Area of canvas = CSA of cone

= πrl

= 22×24×28.3(approx)

= 14942.4 sq. m

Now,

Cost of 1 sq. m canvas = Rs 65

=> Cost of 14942.4 sq. m canvas = 65 × 14942.4 = 971256

=> Cost of canvas required to make the tent is Rs 971256
