diameter of base=28m

radius(r)= 28/2m

r = 14m

surface area of conical tent= \pirl

l(slant height) =\sqrt{r^{2}+h^{2}

l= \sqrt{(14)^{2} +(48)^{2}}

l=\sqrt{196+784}

l=31.30m

surface area=22/7*14*31.30

=22*313/5

=6886/5

=1377.2

surface area of conical tent=1377.2m^{2}
