Given:-

  • Height of Conical tent = 9m

  • Radius of Conical tent = 24/2 → 12m

  • Each person requires 2m² space on vround and 15cm³ meter space to breathe.

To Find:-

  • Number of persons can can accommodate after completing above criteria.

Formulae used:-

  • Area of Circle = πr²

  • Volume of cone = ⅓πr²h

Where,

  • r = Radius.

  • h = Height.

Now,

→ Area of Base = πr²

→ Area of Base = π × 12 × 12 → 452.16

Now Atq

  • It is said that Person required 2m² space on ground.

So,

→ Number of Persons can accommodate = Area/2

→ 452.16/ 2 = 226 Persons

Hence, 226 Persons can accommodate.

Now,

b)

→ Volume of cone = ⅓ × π × r² × h

→ ⅓ × π × 12 × 12 × 9

→ 1356.48m³

Atq.

  • If each Person need 15m³ to breath

So,

→ Number of Persons can accommodate = Volume/2

→ 1356.48/15

→ 90 Person

Hence, 90 Persons can accommodate in the conical tent.
