Answer:

No. of person occupying the conical tent=11

Area occupied by each person =4 sq. mts.

Total area = area of the base of the tent = area of the circle = 11×4

=44sq.m

Area of the base circle =22/7*r^2

Therefore, 44=22/7*r^2

r=14^1/2 or sqrt of 14

Now given vol of air occupied by each person =20m^3

Total vol. Of the tent = no. Of persons × vol occupied by each person

=20m^3×11=220m^3

Vol of cone =1/3*22/7*r^2*h

Also, vol of cone = 220m^3

Therefore

220=1/3*22/7*r^2*h

Where r=sqrt 14(proved above)

h=15m

Answer

Radius=sqrt 14
