Answer:

Height of conical tent= 15m

Area occupied by each person = 4m^2

Area occupied by 11 persons

 = 11 \times 4 =  {44m}^{2}

If the radius of base is r

then

\pi  {r}^{2}  = 44 \\   \\ {r}^{2} =  \frac{44}{\pi}   =  \frac{44}{22} \times \: 7 \\  \\  =  \frac{ { \cancel{44}} \:  \: ^{2} }{ \cancel{22}}  \times 7 \\  \\  = 2 \times 7 = 14m

 {r}^{2}  = 14m \\  \\   \to \: r = 3.74m

Let l be slant height of conical tent

l =  \sqrt{ {r}^{2}  +  {h}^{2} }  =  \sqrt{14 +  {(15)}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{239 }  \\  \\  = 15.45m \\  \\  \rule{200pt}{5pt}

Therefore,

Curved surface area of conical tent

 = \pi rl \\  \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 3.74 \times 15.45 \\  \\  =  {181.60m}^{2}

 \rule{200pt}{5pt}

Hope it helps you from my side

Answer:

Curved surface area of conical tent

= πrl = 7/22 × 3.74 × 15.45 = 181.60m^2.
