Volume of the conical vessel= πr2h
= 22/7× 14×14×7
= 22×196= 4312
Volume of water splashed out= 1/8× 4312= 539.

Volume of water splashed out=volume of the sphere.
4/3 πr3 = 539
4/3×22/7×r3 = 539
r3= 539 × 7 ×3/4×22
r3= 11319/88
r3 = 128.625
r= 5.04 (approximately) .
