Answer: A connection where nerves which detect heat/light to nerves that move muscles is called Neuro-muscular junction.

Explanation:

A neuromuscular junction (or mioneural junction) is a chemical synapse between a motor neuron and a muscle fiber. [1]

It allows the motor neuron to transmit signal to muscle fiber, causing muscle contraction.

Muscles need to stay in place to function — even to maintain muscle tone, avoiding atrophy. In the neuromuscular system the nerves from the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system are connected and working together with the muscles. [2] Synaptic transfer to a neuromuscular junction begins when the force of action reaches the presynaptic terminal of the motor neuron, which activates low-voltage calcium channels to allow calcium ions to enter the neuron.   Calcium ions bind to nerve proteins (synaptotaginers) in synaptic vesicles, resulting in vesicle interaction with cell membranes and subsequent neurotransmitter release from motor neuron to synaptic cleft.   In vertebrates, motor neurons release acetylcholine (ACh), a small molecule of neurotransmitter, which is distributed throughout the synaptic cleft and binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the cell membrane of the muscle, also known as the molecule. .   NAChRs are ionotropic receptors, meaning they act as ligand ion channels. The binding of ACh to the receptor can cause muscle fiber to loosen, resulting in fluid retention leading to muscle contraction.

Neuromuscular junction disorders can be both genetic and autoimmune. Genetic disorders, such as Congenital myasthenic syndrome, can arise from altered structural proteins that bind to neuromuscular integration, whereas autoimmune diseases, such as myasthenia gravis, occur when antibodies are produced against nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the sarcolemma.

A neuromuscular junction (NMJ) is a synaptic connection between the end of a motor nerve and a muscle (skeletal / smooth / cardiac). It is the site of transfer of energy from action to muscle. It is also a source of many diseases and a place for many medicines. [1] [2] [3] [4] In this article, NMJ will discuss the skeletal muscle NMJ.
