a constant force acts on an object of mass 10 kg for a duration of 2 s. It increases the

object's velocity from 2 m/s to 6 m/s. Find the magnitude of applied force.​

Force= 10kg

initial velocity= 2m/s

final velocity= 6m/s

time taken= 2s

By first law of motion

v=u+at

6 = 2+ 2

6-2= 2a

a = 2m/s

By Newton second law,

F= a

F = 10×2kgm/s

F= 20kgm/s
