A constant retarding force of 80n is applied to a body of mass 50kg which is moving initially with a speed of 20m/s what would be the time required by the body to come to rest

f = ma

80 = 50 a

a=80 / 50

a = 1.6

v = u+ at

0 = 20+ 1.6 t

t= 20 / 1.6

t= 12.5
