The term 'living document' refers to the dynamic or changeable document and thus not a static one.

As per the above definition, Indian Constitution is a 'living document' as it is not static and can be changed by the parliament ( Parliament Amendment) as per the needs and aspirations of the people with changing times. Besides it is open to the interpretation by the Supreme Court of India before understanding the society and the basic and foundational principles of Constitution.
