milk in container =40 liters

after subtracting 4 liters milk from container

milk after subtraction from container=40-4=36

after adding water=36+4=40

now take in mind that this is not milk this is mixture of water and milk

milk ratio in it=36/40

water ratio=4/40

when we draw n times four liters from this mixture

the milk ratio will be drawn=36/40

1=n(36/40)

n=40/36=1.11

and after n times 1.11 liter milk will remain in the container
