Answer:

Given , Mass =70 g

Volume =30 cm³

We know that d =m/v

Therefore, d= 70 g/30 cm³

or d =7/3 g/cm³

or d =2.333 g/cm³

Answer- The density of Kerosene is 7/3 g/cm³ or 2.333 g/cm³.

Answer:

Solution:

Mass of empty density bottle = 30 gm

mass of density bottle with water in it 62 gm

Mass if density bottle with the liquid = 54 gm

Mass of water only = 62-30=32 gm

(a) Now volume of 1 g of water = 1cm 3

∴ Volume of density bottle = 32 cm 3

(b) Mass of liquid only = 54-30=24 gm

∴ density of the liquid = ∴

Volumeofliquid

Massofliquidonly

= 32cm³24g

=0.75g/cm 3
