Since we have to give the answer in grams, we must first change all the units required for this calculation into grams.

Initial quantity of sugar = 2 kg = ( 2 * 1000 ) g = 2000 g

Quantity of sugar consumed = 920 g

Now since we are asked to calculate the sugar remaining after consumption, we will subtract the quantity of sugar consumed from initial quantity of sugar.

Quantity of sugar left in the container = Initial quantity of sugar - Quantity of sugar consumed

=> Quantity of sugar left in the container =  2000 g - 920 g

=> Quantity of sugar left in the container = 1080 g

1kg=1000gram

2kg=2000gram

left amount of sugar in the container

=total amount - consumed amount

=2000-920

=1080gram
