A container have 90 litres of milk, milk and water are in 2:1 ratio.if this ratio becomes 3:2 then what amount of water should be added?

milk : water

2 : 1 = ( 2 + 1 = 3 unit )

90 = 3unit

1 unit = 90/3 = 30 liter

milk : water = 2 : 1

= 2 × 30 : 1 × 30

= 60 : 30

the ratio becomes

3 : 2

60 = X

X = ( 60 × 2 )/3 = 120/3 = 40 liter

add water = 40 - 30 = 10 liter
