Answer:

100 litre

Given:

Container of milk is 4/5

10 l milk poured in it it becomes 9/10

To find:

The capacity of container

Solution:-

Let the capacity of container be x

Now

According to the question

 \frac{4}{5}x + 10 =  \frac{9}{10}x

\frac{4}{5}x -  \frac{9}{10}x =  - 10

 \frac{8x - 9x}{10} =  - 10

 - x =  - 100

x = 100

Answer:

A container of milk is 4/5 full.

when 10I of milk is poured into it , the container becomes 9/10 full.

Suppose the capacity of the container= x

= 4x + 10 = 9x

5x 10x

= 4x _ 9x = -10

5 10

=8x - 9x = - 10

10

= - x = - 100

= 100

x = 100.
